Itchy Weekend

itchy itchy itchy... scratch scratch scratch... that just sums up my wkend...

woke up on saturday to find the hind of my thighs swollen with what seemed like eczema... swollen, red and itchy...

it somehow wldn't stop itching, even after yoga class... was at toa payoh with dearie in desperate search for mib clinics to go see doc but dunno is i suay or what, both clinics that we tried closed... and LL gotta wait till sun...

the feeling was really horrible.. cos it was really swollen and itchy and unbearable.. :( lotsa 蛇粉 and 无比膏 didn't help much... i ended up scratching the thighs in the middle of the night and woke up cos it was too itchy and painful from the scratch.. scratching only relived the itch, but the pain just came in cos the skin all sore from the hard scratching le.. woke up to splash some water in hopes of relieving the itch and the pain, to try go back to sleep, holding my hands together, enduring not to go scratch it again... 真的好难受啊!!!!!

until sunday morning, 1st thing after i woke up, dearie brought me to the other mib clinic at toa payoh.. only to end up with a very oooold uncle doc who didn't seemed to know what's wrong with me.. he kept emphasizing that it wasn't eczema cos eczema outbreaks usually is whole body one, and mine just so happen was only on the thighs. and so, he concluded that it was skin allergy.. -_-"'

he gave me inflammation pills, some anti-itch pills (for both day and night: and the night one is those that can easily knock out elephant one.. :P) and anti-itch cream that didn't seemed to help much in relieving the itch..

and so, just now after lunch, i went to see the doc at keypoint... brought my medi there.. and the doc said that it's similar to eczema, also said it's skin irritation.. prescribed more anti-itch cream and on the spot asked me to take 4 inflammation pills which somehow caused me to be gong gong after that... funny leh.. the prescription said 2 tablets, twice a day.. and i already had taken 2 tablets in the morning le... but then, doc say take, so i take lo...

very bad news.. doc said that there are cases where pple take as long as 3 weeks to recover... saddie... i hope i don't have to take that long... the leggie very ugly leh... :( haiz, dunno is suay or what lor... last time eczema attack whole body only took 2 days to recover lor... haiz...

just hope i recover real soon wor... lotsa food gotta 戒口.. :(

Operation Chocolate Milk

it's been a really looooong time since i went swimming.. told dearie that, and so had decided to go swimming today!

almost didn't make it to the swimming pool.. cos by the time we woke up, 11am liao... and dearie said, "why don't we go in the afternoon? cos i'm hungry liao.." but in the end, i insisted of going swim first then lunch cos i know if we were to go lunch first, we surely won't swim liao.. :P

and so, dilly dally here and there, by the time we reached toa payoh swimming complex, 12 plus le.. ghee, too long never swim liao... never run also, like not much stamina left le... was having difficulties in my first 5 laps.. kinda like almost died.. hahaha...

swam 20 laps.. 1km... really lousy... used to swim like 30 lor... ghee, must buck up liao.. must jia you jia you!!

am happy that i went swimming today... the sun was kinda playing peek a boo.. one moment out, the next, hiding behind some clouds, making my sun tan operation chocolate milk, not quite a success... i wana be more tanned la!!! nvm, next week go swim again... hmm... hope i'm not too lazy to get my lazy arse off the bed, and out the house.. keke.. :P

Patience Is A Virtue

my 忍功 towards m)phosis has always been pretty gd... cos i know their sales are always irresistable.. and, 我终于等到了! keke.. :P

unlike certain stores that gives a miserable 10% or 20% discount once in a blue moon, m)phosis' sales are always 50% - 70%!! during their sale period, it's always filled with pple.. even thou the clothes are stuffed to the max at the racks making it so difficult to browse thru and choose the clothes.

all thanks to dearie who saw it at city link when he was on his way to meet me at marina square. so when we met up, we headed to m)phosis first, then dinner..

wanted to try out the shoes and take a look at the bags, but 8pm le, dearie and i were hungry le.. so... i left kinda unwillingly with 3 pieces of clothings.. :P

nevertheless... happy :)

Of Conversations About Work

've been working late these few days, leaving office at 2230 yesterday and 2200 today.. i'm really tired. no, exhausted seems to fit in better.

anyway, had dinner with terry last nite. after dinner, he went back while i made my way back to office. moments later, he smsed me asking me to jia you.. also saying that bosses should appreciate me more. and if he were my boss, he would have given me a higher pay. (cannot rmb the exact words, but it's somewhere along the line.)

and i replied, "if i were getter a higher pay, why do you think i am so unmotivated to work? haha.."

speaking of which, i rmb the conversation i had with sherlaine dear when i met up with her last sat when at cousin steve's place (went there to 拜年)... was catching up with each other cos the last time i saw her was her b'day, which was on august. one of the topics included our working lives... lifting off a part of our conversation:

sherlaine: if the pay's low, and you're working like a cow, why are you still there? i believe you can get a job with a higher pay.

me: erm, cos i've got super glue stuck on my arse to the office chair?

there seems to be so many valid reasons not to stay, but why am i still there? i don't really know actually. perhaps i want to finish orchard turn first? perhaps i'm still holding a hope, for things to turn for the better? or perhaps i really have my arse super glued to the office chair? haha.. :P oh well, whatever reasons there may be, one thing for sure, my kakhis there are one of the reasons why i'm still standing. yes guys and gals, you know who you are :)

this is a job, which i've learnt to love and to hate.. my path is unclear now. will there be a light at the end of the tunnel? i'm keeping my fingers crossed.
