The Walkie Post
*laughs* tmr will be my last day going to gmt office le... cos we'll be shifting back to concourse le..
was chatting with dearie few days back about the shift, then it suddenly dawned upon me that i had this "special walkie" post (see post here) the day b4 i shifted from concourse to gmt... and i was asking him, "do you think i'll have another special walkie post for gmt?" hahaha... then dearie replied, "but from lavender to gmt office got nothing leh." and it's like "oh ya hor.... *silence*" lol...
i'm also not quite sure whether i'll do a special post for my last day in alighting in lavender and walking to office... see how first ba... see my mood.. keke.. :P i think it's last day alighting in lavender ba.. cos i'll most prob be walking to concourse office from bugis... even thou there are pple who say lavender nearer la... but i find not much difference thou..
hmm, i wonder, whether i'll rmb to alight at bugis on monday anot wor.. or, whether i rmb i no longer walk to gmt office le wor... keke.. :P

Hottest Romantic Night
the whole class of us who took 8.30pm hot yoga class just now had a very hot and romantic yoga class with master yogi... hahaha..
hot, understandable right? cos i already said it's hot yoga class wor... but note the title, it's hottest wor... why so? just 10 mins into the class, there was a black out/electricity trip. it's kinda funny.. cos having that e'city trip meant that there wasn't any more hot air blowing out, which shld mean a cooler place to work out.. but no, it was even worse! it was super hot and stuffy... i perspired so much i looked like some honey glazed chicken.. not the normal ones where you just glaze a layer onto it (this one is normal hot yoga class), but is alot of layers, making the "honey glazed" super gao lor... hahahaha... HOT right? keke...
now, to the romantic part... due to the blackout, the backup lights were litted... but there was only like 3-4 lights in the whole studio... ambience was perfect for a candlelight dinner... now tell me, romantic anot? keke.. :P
what a hot romantic night... in literal sense... keke... :P

Operation Rush
wanted to give dearie a surprise... and knowing that he has this very "ba-bai" dinner @ the parliament house this coming wed and that he has yet to find a nice tie to go with his newly bought suit and pants, i decided to get the tie that we kinda had eyes on when we were shopping the past week.
dearie was kinda hesitant in buying that tie which i thought was really nice cos of the price... and in the end left the shop empty handed cos he din want to pay $40+ for a tie...
on tues, i dropped by the arcade in search of nice cheap ties.. but non of them caught my eyes.. i still liked the one that i saw in pedro.. that tie, which i stepped in the shop, just caught my attention with it's nicey nice colours...
and so, on fri morning, i had decided to buy that tie as a gift to dearie for his dinner this coming wed... when i reached office, told andrea i wanted to go buy the tie during lunch and being such a sweetie, she accompanied me on a mission where time was against us.
1230 sharp, off we went! took 100, alighted at raffles hotel, walked to city link, buy that tie... then off to suntec, da-baoed lunch cos not enuf time to eat there... we bought don's pie for lunch and donuts from donut factory back to office for us and our "pets"... we rushed like mad during that 1 hour, with all that speed walking and running... only to reach office back at 1.30, but tummies not filled... super hungry ah... but this operation rush, was kinda fun... andrea and i were kinda enjoying the process... keke... :P
dearie came to pick me up from work... saw his van parked at the overhead bridge waiting for me, i called him and asked him to keep his eyes closed.. hehe... b4 i presented him the prezzie... i had initially wanted to hide it in my bag and give it to him during dinner, but my bag not big enuf wor... so lor... keke...

his first reaction, "argh!!! you bought the tie!!!! waste money!! i can use those that i have at home ma..." keke.. thou he was exclaiming those remarks, i knew he loved it... hee...
seeing that smile on his face, just made all the rush i made that afternoon, worthed it's while.. :)

好累
hectic day today... and a bloody tiring one too... so darn busy trying to print out all my cals for package 3 amendment submission... thou the remote comp based in gmt was occupied, i managed to "snatched" the one and remaining one with staadpro in concourse.. but it came with a price... the speed...
gawd, the loading of one file... let me clarify.. it's not some sophisticated model, not ramp model, not 3-d, just a simple 2-d 2 span beam... wait until.... i can get so pek chek... open file, hang, check model, hang, save, hang, run analysis, hang hang, print, hang hang and sometimes no printout... see? how not to pek chek?
finally gotten the remote based in gmt back at ard 3 plus... work work work, print print print... here and there... then had to stop the report compiling cos gotta do modelling for the stupid retaining wall.. here and there till i only managed to get out of the office at 7.30pm...
poor dearie... hungry... waiting for me at home to go have dinner at chinatown together... he smsed me at 5.45pm telling me hopefully that i was feeling hungry cos that's when i can get my arse off the chair, out the office and have dinner with him... but i cldn't get off yet.. poor hungry dear... by the time i met up with him.. no more yummylicious dinner at chinatown liao... ended up da bao-ing burger king for dinner...
poor dearie... hungry... telling me he was frantically looking for food in my famous nothing-to-eat house except for one packet of chipster chips, one packet of calebee prawn crackers and one packet of tiramisu pokey... he said he almost had to open the praw crackers while looking for biscuits until he saw the pokey.. and said, "i've never felt so happy seeing pokey leh..." poor me also wor... so hungry... so tired... so drained... cannot even think straight liao... was telling him about my day... how busy i was... until i was like, "wah, i just realised today i so busy until i only went toilet twice wor..." and i guess, that kinda showed the amount of water intake i had today as well... like so unhealthy wor.. :(
好累哦... 真的好累... ... ... what a hectic and so darn busy day... will tmr be a better day? *cross fingers*

The Decree
the last time i received such a decree in my outlook, it was for us to shift to gmt... and this time, it's for us to shift back to concourse...
i feel like some chess piece... think think here... put me there... think think there, put me here again.
ys have this really cute "theory" about this... he said something like that (can't really rmb).. haha... one day, your parents feel that you shld go out and 闯一闯... shld shift out and stay on your own... and you did!!! and now? maybe your parents feel that you need some security? and now, they ask you to come back... hahaha... like damn fun hor?
回去不是不好... but just can't help feeling like a toy la... and, the packing/unpacking thingy... not fun la... esp when work on hand is never ending.. how to pack?
oh, not to mention, i've gotta try to get that stupid package 3 amendment submission done by the end of this month... when, the decree states we're to shift back by the end of this month... hmm... having this strong feeling i have to come back on wkends either to work or to pack le wor.... why ah? :P

SSS - Sandwich, Salad, On A Sunday
dearie's been complaining that i've been too lazy when at his place on wkends.. cos i'm always either sleeping, or watching tv... then falling asleep... hahaha...
oh well. poor baby had been studying non-stop preparing for his upcoming exams... 3 back to back papers... aiyo... study untiil gong gong liao...
dunno why, last sat after yoga lesson asked him whether he wanted to eat salad anot... it's been a really loooong time since i made salad liao.. so of course it's a yes from him.. hahaha... and so it's salad and sandwich for lunch on sunday!!!
*sandwich was kinda a last min thing, decided on sunday morning.. cos dearie felt only salad for lunch not enuf wor... keke..

speaking of egg.. i can never seem to do a good sunny side up... i always break the egg yolk la... grrr... very sian... dunno is my technique not rite, or the frying pan not rite, or what... haiz...
ok, bad things aside.. hehe... here comes the yummylicious salad... keke... abit of 老王卖瓜, 自卖自夸... hahahaha... but hey, it's really good lor... as far as i'm concerned.. hahahaha...
looks like a very hardworking, non lazy sunday for me? hmm... i still did get to nap thou.. keke... :P

Too Full Too Bloated
argh.. feeling very bloated ah!!! and this, came from a hearty meal of carl's jr with andrea, terry, eng han, jas, kah wei and poh...
a hearty meal of western double bacon cheese burger... shared the beef chilli cheese fries with andrea and ice lemon tea... neverending conversations, neverending laughters... happy :)
think the meal on the too salty side liao.. now keep downing water... feeling soooo bloated... cannot sleep.. not very happy :(
happy - not very happy = happy prevails!
hahahaha... i'm so bo liao... *faint* hahahahaha...

Of Anger Being Post-dated, Once Again
super angry can!!! just like what my msn nick now says "i despise men who discriminate against women". thou the incident occurred yesterday.. but 这口气, 真的吞不下去 lor... aaaarrrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!
yesterday ys decided to bring me to site @ OFC to see the caisson foundation.. i was kinda skipping with joy... finally... finally, after that brief short site visit that i went last dec at OT, i was going to site again.
dr hosoi and the RTO went down first. i was the 2nd batch to go down. after CW and i went down, there was this sub con person (i think it's the RE) yelling "where is the lady engr?" ys was the 3rd batch to go down when he heard the commotion and asked that idiot what happened.. after ys told him that i was already down at the caisson, he was scolding the bangala who was operating the lifting thingy saying why he let me go down..
and you know what's the reason for all this hoo-haa? cos he said, lady engr go down in excavation or tunnel will collapse. they call it "ban-tan"/superstition. i call it discrimination.
very luckily for that idiot i was already down at the caisson. if not i would have whacked the hell outta him and made sure he regretted saying such stupid, no proof stuff.. what kind of stupid theory is that? kaoz...
it's totally absurb lor... he better make sure that the person designing the caisson not gal lor... if not will also collapse rite? since substructure will collapse, why won't extend it to superstructure as well? might as well tell all the companies don't hire female RE, or don't have female engrs... cos everything will collapse ma...
aaaarrrrggghhhh... 真的很气啊!!!!!!!
finally, finally i get to sort of step out of my shell.. perhaps it's just a site visit like last time where it's only a visit. but perhaps it's a step... another step up from where i am now.. no more just staying in office and blindly designing... aiya... i dunno la... it's just so, angry, and depressing.
if only all these "打小人" can just make me feel better... sadly, it doesn't.
