A 'lil of froggie + prawnie = breast stroke

and this applies to my darling niece clare aged 5 who's learning the breast stroke... she does the proper froggie thing but when she pops her head for breath, she's swimming like a prawn... that brought laughters to the family to see a cuitie swim like tat... hee..

and speaking of swimming, i haven been swimming for a long time.. a bloody long time in fact.. if i'm not wrong, the last time i swam was in nie's pool... which was probably b4 exam and was dunno how many months ago!!!

and despite all that, managed to do 1km worth of swim with dearie...

*beams* am proud of myself.. =)

Supermarket Sale

ha.. i know i'm a sucker for sale... my fav four letter magical word... and that includes supermarket sales...

apart from shopping for clothes, bags, shoes etc.. i love shopping in supermarkets too. not the ntuc kind thou i do go from time to time when i'm bloody bored. but i love supermarkets like liberty market, the market place and even sometimes cold storage.. i love walking thru the shelves, looking at what new or interesting products they've stored and oogling at all the nice stuff. hee...

and so, last nite dearie and i were shopping @ the cold storage located at shaw and my "sharp eyes" saw this sale that i couldn't resist... normally selling at $11.90 (or $12.90??) per tub, they were selling at $9.70!!! how to resist? especially my fav ben & jerry's!!

Spendthrift me

god, i'm such a spendthrift...

in just two days, i have 3 new tops (2 from little match girl, 1 from chaos), 1 cardigen (little match girl), 1 skirt (chaos) and 1 highlight+lowlight+treatment-ed hair (jann's salon)...

and i almost came back with another 2 skirts.. but didn't cos i couldn't decide which one to buy when dearie said i could only buy one. so instead of choosing, i gave up. haa... now come to think of it, shld have just chose one la... at least get 1 out of 2 rather than none at all rite?? keke..

oh well, looking at the bright side, i bought them all in a sale... and doing my hair cost me $100, very worth it for my hair length..

and now i have to tighten my expenses after all the expenditure... but retail therapy makes me a happy evelyn!!! hee...

oh well, i used to think mac products were very very expensive.. although it's not cheap either, but still ok la..

at least the people there @ tang's are nice. that lady serving me was patient and was giving gd advice on what shade was more suitable for me and stuff. unlike some other sales girl who was so keen in promoting their latest product that might not suit me...

ok la, enuf of beauty talk. haa.. but then again, one last thing, there is still so so much more that i need to learn about make up.. haa..

I know i should, but i'm lazy

i know i should upload all the convo pics la.. like what everyone's doing. but i'm really lazy.. hee. as you can see i haven even uploaded the pics on the previous bangkok-pattaya trip...

hmm.. give me more time.. i promise i'll try to get the lazy me to do it pretty soon. hee..
can't blame me la. sometimes blogger just pisses me off cos they upload pics so slow and worst part, after waiting for so long, it's still a failure..
