pre-school children were asked the follow question:

"in which direction is the bus pictured below travelling?"

look at the picture carefully

do you know the answer?

the only possible answers are "left" and "right"

think about it...

still don't know?

ok, i'll tell you

the pre-schoolers all answered "right"

when asked, "why do you think the bus is travelling in the right direction?"

they answered:

"because you can't see the door."

feel pretty silly now, don't you?

had a gathering with the same gang last nite for a b'day celebration for dawson and joshua. had dinner @ 重庆麻辣火锅... after which we went to tcc @ bugis for coffee and ended the day with laughters...

Genting Trip Pics!!!

genting's great!!! the weather was fantastic!!! how i wished i could stay there longer... oh, i miss the lovely weather...

no point in me blabbering on how fun it was... let the pictures do the talking!!!

Darling Chris' Creation

dearie and i met up with sis and the kids this afternoon for lunch and x'mas shopping @ united square. had lotsa fun, not failing to mention constant eating.

argh, i'm so full...

after that we went back to sis' place and she presented her last piece of dearie's fav... the log cake!!!!!!! baker's inn one... yummy!!!

the rest of the day followed by a game of monopoly with chris. she enjoyed it thoroughly. it's her fav. too bad clare couldn't join cos she was napping.

John Little's Warehouse Sale

oh how i love this 4 letter word....

oh tell me, who the hell can resist it??? hehe

dearie and i went down to expo for the john little's warehouse sale to shop for x'mas presents for my darling nieces and nephew. boy i tell you, no matter how much i love them, i hate shopping for presents. especially for the festive season. you'll get a bloody headache when you see the crowd, plus the prices, plus all the toys... oh boy...

but it was really worth it even though we had to travel all the way to expo. the things were cheap!!! and of course we went back with two big bags of stuff. ours and of course the kids'..

for those of you who's thinking i'm teaching here, nope you're wrong. hehe. i watched that movie lah...

dearie and i met up with veron and terry on wed for lunch at village (heeren). it was previously known as marche. i dunno what the big fuss of the name of the restaurant la, but basically, they serve the same food.

it's really been some time since dearie and i met up with the both of them. the last time was mahjong b4 my exam started. so after lunch, we decided to catch a movie @ cineleisure. veron and i wanted to watch step up. but the guys refused. in the end we "lost" cos the tix were sold out already. so were "arguing" till we ended up with dejavu. not a bad show, kinda interesting. thank god i insisted on not watching flags of our fathers. not that i hate war films, but... a bit boring lah.... i wasn't in a war film kinda mood.

enjoyed myself thoroughly!!! ahhh. the joy of the end of exams, the end of the sitex fair, and the start of my last holidays. (the next i'll be frantically be looking for jobs) =(

Back!!!

i'm finally back to blogging after...

- more than 40 hours of standing at expo for the past 4 days
- having to run to the bloody mrt station after all the standing cos the next train is always arriving in 2/3 minutes
- having to curse and ask myself every morning i wake whether it was worth it
- having my calf, my knee, my ankle and my back to ache even before the show starts
- finally telling myself that the standing was worth it cos dearie and i made our personal best records in sales for I.T shows
- had a nice yummy steak @ toa payoh for lunch
- calling pizzahut to order for home delivery (monday specials)

ahh... hopefully there will have no slash in commission for those laptops sold........

next: will be back to expo on wed for john little's mega sale...
