Half Gone

finally... alas... i've gotten my hair cut... yeap... it's cut, not trim... hahahaha... took me quite a while to decide on a cut rather than a trim...

am getting bored with trimming my hair and walking out of the salon looking as if i just went in for a wash and blow. "time for a change" i thot to myself... and so, after about an hour in the salon, i walked out with half the length and the volume of my hair gone... haha...

oh, just realised, there goes my perm... *laughs* oh well, looking on the bright side, don't need to spend money to perm hair wor... keke.. :P

Little Things

received a forwarded email from nancy titled "little things" this afternoon... when i first read it, 感触不多.. but when i was running at ecp, i suddenly remembered about this email..

this email was about the lucky people who survived the 911 incident cos of little things that happened.. little things like making the wrong turn on the way to work, dropping by the drug store to buy plaster cos new shoe caused blisters, his turn to buy donuts that day etc... all these little things that happened that sort of let them 逃过一劫... and, as "inspirational emails" wld always say to not curse and swear if you always have little things that hinder your way. things like being caught in a traffic jam, having the kids dilly dallying at home etc... cos all these little things happen for a reason... and it was meant to be happened to you...

now, what does this gotta do with my run? cos it rained la... and i was sort of cursing and swearing asking why does it always have to have dark skies when i'm going for my run. all the effort of bringing the shoes and running attire all gone... plus my not very gd moodie lately, can only say, 心情是真的有够烂的了...

anyway, the rain subsided into a light drizzle and all of us decided to go ahead with the run at ecp... and by the time we started the run, the drizzle stopped le... and while running, that email just came into my mind lor... and i thot to myself.. because of the rain, i got to have a really nice breezy run... so good a run that i felt so refreshed after that... 心情也开朗多了... ... perhaps that's why pple always say, exercise is a gd healthy outlet.. totally agree..

and now i think again.. because of the rain, dinner @ tiong barhu market was cooling... and also because of the rain, i had the cooling weather accompanying me while i walked home from tiong barhu market after dinner... so, it wasn't that bad a thing afterall...

but then again la... i feel it's just one of those few times you'll feel lydat one lor... keke.. :P

Tom Cruise

even if they say you're the jap version of tom cruise, that doesn't appease my anger when you keep sending stupid RFI's/AI's that's not complete or that keeps changing lor... you really think 老娘我很多时间跟你改东改西啊? nb... super angry... and oh ya, i don't even like the actual tom cruise lor...

work is like ever breathing down my neck... do until super tired liao... today one whole day only did one thing.. and it's not really complete yet... the worst thing was, haven even finish one item, got 2 more things adding to my list liao... kaoz... the list just gets longer by the day... the rate of increase is so much faster than the rate of decrease... it's such a pain lor... so painful that i feel so tired.. so painful that my patience is running short.. so painful that i get pek chek easily at work.. so painful that... oh well, you get the idea... ...

and becos of the neverending list that keeps growing, my intention of going for my hair trim after work today 泡汤 liao... and i thot this morning, i finally can go trim hair le wor, after so many weeks of saying i need to go trim my hair... the hair is now super thick and messy.. plus the hot weather these days, the thick hair is really driving me crazy.. haiz... so not only did i not manage to go for my hair trim cos of that stupid tom cruise look alike, i ended up working late.. how late? well, late enuf to be the last one in the office and locking up everything when i leave... sibe sian.. monday only leh... first day of the week leh... haiz... 这种感觉, 真的是非常无奈... ...

Ouch

hard fall on the backside while blading today... ouch... dun really know what happened... just suddenly this person's bicycle hit my blade, i lost balance, fell hard on the bottom, and hit his bike again...

and, he just continued riding his bike... what an arse... wr and shilong asked why i din hit harder, so he'll fly... hahahaha...

now thou not pain, hopefully tmr not pain also... cos fall on bottom usually is next day pain one...

Different

finally got to 开张 this dressie i bought from far east almost a month ago... never gotten a chance to wear it cos i felt it's too nice to just wear to office and back home le... and since today after work meeting brina and daw at suntec to change money (in the end never changed cos rate not very the gd wor) and shop shop abit, get to 开张 it liao lor... happy!

eh, everyone who saw me in this dressie said i looked different wor... why ah? hmm... not my style ba... keke... :P

really different meh? hahaa... who cares... me happy can le... keke... and another happier thing.. while on the way to city hall mrt from tcc, saw this fav sign of mine in my one of my fav stores... and that is 50%~70% sale from m)phosis!!!! hahaha.... tmr meeting brina after work... i die die must try my very best.... NO OT!!!! heee.... :P

Tioman Part 1 Done

and that's the editing of the 600 over pics that we took over the very shortie 4 day trip... yes, not your eyes blur or what.. it's 600 over pics over 4 days... hahaha...

my photo editing skills sucks.. but hope all this effort did improve some of the pics.. esp those due to 背光 make our face black black one.. keke.. :P

ok, part 1 of editing the pics done.. what's next? the powerpoint lor.. think i'm gonna spend quite some time there as well.. *laughs*

The Times I Can Hate GMT & Work So Much

today's just one of the day i can hate gmt and work at the same time... it's usually just gmt or work itself. 2 separate issues... but today it just gotta happen together.. and i almost snapped... almost... ....

gmt server went on pms again... server down... this time it was down big time... not only cannot map the project drive, also cannot print... kaoz... then, log onto remote terminal liao, also cannot map project drive.. which basically meant, everything cannot do lor...

today's like some 黑色星期五... cos email also down! some directory was corrupted and ended up dunno what routed all the way usa server... haiz...

and that was only the gmt part... here comes the work part... already feeling very 无奈 about the gmt having pms... i have pple breathing down my neck... i know you're stressed, but by doing that i also cannot do anything about it... and at just the next moment, your tone to others is so different.. like so nice... and at that point, i wondered, why the hell i was still staying there, taking all these temperate changes, and sometimes feeling so unappreciated... haiz....

总觉得好累哦... 迟睡, wakie feel tired... 早睡, wakie also tired... 真的好累哦~~~

Look, Nudge, Whisper, Stand

this is what usually happens when a couple who's seated in the train sees a preggie enters the train.. ok, "usually happens" don't seem quite right. cos there are many buay zi dong pple ard who will either look in a different direction, or pretend to sleep etc...

anyway, that's not my point here... haa, side tracked liao... :P what i meant was, the above action is common eh? not so common for me this evening while on my way home... this preggie entered the train somewhere at raffles.. when i saw her, i wondered if anyone wld actually give up his/her seat for her...

this couple, seated in front of me, apparently saw it and responded... the bf, upon seeing her, nudged her gf, whispered and.... the gf stood up and gave her seat to the preggie... that, was really interesting... while the bf just remain seated throughout the whole journey...

it seemed like the bf was like saying "oi, 你让位 leh..." then the gf just stood up liao... well, i'm not trying to say that it's a must that the guy shld give up the seat la... but it's just... erm... funny lor... hahaha...

very the good... new specs... cheap cheap too... hahaha... not very the good is, the right side's degree increase le... and wearing it due to the new increased degree, makes my eyes feel tired... and when i walk with the specs on, feels funny, look funny...

Of Nonsensical Mozzie Thoughts

was invaded by mozzies last nite... sort of stubborn me refused to on the aircon last nite despite the no-wind-so-hot-weather b4 i turned in cos aircon so dry, don't really like it unless it's for sleeping on a very hot afternoon... :P and so, i got 10 over very poisonous mozzie bites all over my arms and legs that itched so badly i woke up at 5.30am this morning and couldn't really get back to sleep...

why couldn't i get back to sleep? part of the reason as stated above was the itch was really bad that i couldn't stop scratching it lor.. and the other, cos the mozzie kept buzzing around the ear... kaoz... 烦死人了... ...

and i can't help wondering.. why is it when you get woken up by mozzies that you'll always hear that stupid mozzie buzzing around your ear? it seems like it's trying to say "neni neni boo boo, you cannot catch me..." kaoz... very irritating lor...

and the more irritating part of this?... the mozzie bites are still swollen and itching lor!!! grrr...

慢得 - 不露

monday... pretty bluey monday... bluey busy monday somemore... made the monday blues every blue-er... haha...

suddenly came across my mind that garfield also dunno like mondays wor... why ah? why garfield don't like mondays ah? not as if he has to work wor... hahahaha...

so darn busy today... so busy until i din get to see megan... so 难得 for kf to bring megan back to office to show off his cutie pretty princess wor... and yet i din even get to catch a tinnie winnie glimpse of her.. stupid gmt... :(

thot i shld go get a hair cut/trim after work... but at 6 plus abit, i got the usual question of "eve ah, are you going to go off le?" and i know there's something for me to do le... haiz... 能帮多少就帮多少吧... today saw ys came back from mtg the look so stressed... haiz... 看了都不忍心不出多一份力, 帮多一点忙... clear as many stupidie neverending issues as possible... and 就这样, there goes my trip to the hair dresser liao... oh well... at least i haven decided whether to just trim or cut short... so, gimme more time to think ba... haa...

to snip or not to snip... now that is the question... ... ...

To & Fro ~ 2+2 ~ To & Fro

to and fro, 2 + 2, to and fro.... what does that equates to? that's to and fro from area C to area A on roller blades for 2 hours, and to and fro from area C to area H on bicycles for 2 hours... which also meant the whole of east coast park to and fro!!! hahaha~~

met up with wr, yl, brina & fw today for bladding and cycling at ecp... brina said last time 2 hours only not enuf... so today wana play 4 hours wor... and so we did 2 hours of roller bladding and 2 hours of cycling... except for wr la... he bladded for the whole of the 4 hours...

it was a really fun-filled outing... esp when the 5 of us were bladding together.. unlike the previous ecp gathering, only wr, fw and me bladded... somehow, this thing about bladding together was really really fun... and i really enjoyed myself...

enjoyed the cycling part too... cos we cycled really far today... till the end of the ecp where they actually showed signs like "6000m to changi beach"... and we discovered a very different ecp... very "kampong", quiet ecp...

so happy!! but is kinda shortlived thou... cos still have to work tmr, oops, i mean later... 可不可以不上班???
