Continuation No More

on leave today... was supposed to bring my two darlings chris and clare to ecp today to roller blade and some beach activities.

sis, dearie and i actually brought them to ecp last fri.. chris had been looking forward to it since the last time we've brought her. and since sis and i was on leave last fri, we've decided to bring the kids there... and after 2 hours of blading for chris, 2 hours of cycling for clare, they cldn't have enough! and that's why the decision to bring them to ecp again today.

but, called sis just now.. today ecp blading no more le.. cos clare is running a high fever.. 38-deg fever somemore... saddie... :(

saddie for us, more saddie for her.. cos sis told me she was really looking forward to blading. we've managed to find a shop that has her blade size so she was supposed to be able to get a feel of blading today... and boy was she disappointed...

well clare, take a gd rest and get well soon k? yiyi will bring you to ecp for blading again.. :)

M1's Curse

today's operation change hp (get mio plan) failed... tremendously...

no, no, not my fault this time wor... this time is not about me not able to make up my mind le wor...

after countless times of surfing the singtel shop webbie, countless times of walking into singtel shops bio-ing hp, checking out prices etc, i've finally decided to go get myself a new hp.. cos the old one, thou till now, i still love it, really cmi liao...

wanted to get wr's phone, the samsung i780 one.. was previously selling at $298.. but singtel not selling le... so... haiz...

few days back, saw this leaflet from singtel, omnia 8gb selling at $468 from the usual $498.. promotion was supposed to end at 31 dec. yes... the word here is SUPPOSED.. why? cos today when i was at singtel, there was a new promotion!!! the stupid phone now is not selling at a freaking $533!!! now, it's way beyond my budget le... in fact, the omnia wasn't really within my budget, but singtel phones, really ex lor... all the price, either bo hua, or ex lor... sigh...

actually, this morning when i checked the singtel shop webbie, it was $468 wor.. but, it's online price.. and bcos i was going for the mio plan, i don't think i can purchase the phone online.. and oh ya, speaking of which, the pple there really cmi lor.. ask them whether can purchase the hp online then bundle the plan for mio plan anot also cannot answer me.. must ask dunno what i.t. person that can only get back to me earliest tue morning. wa kao... not cmi is what? you mean there wasn't anyone who was able to attend to such query? really cmi... disappointed.

so, bo bian lor.. then i remembered this morning i saw from the online shop that the nokia n81 8gb was selling at $228... and so, asked for that model... you know what? the person said the shops not selling le wor... but hor, online can buy leh! interesting eh?

moodie very down le... hungry also.. so dearie and i went for our dinner first... and was contemplating whether to buy the nokia e71 anot. the person told me it was selling at $338... knowing that my current hp can fetch a trade in value of $60, we've decided to get it after dinner.. and becos i wasn't prepared in trading in the mobile, i had to copy all of my contacts from phone to the sim card.. that isn't the difficult part.. the difficult part was that there wasn't enough memory in the sim card for all my contacts... and so i had to browse thru every single contact to delete those super long time never contact contacts and made sure all those important ones that i need were moved to the sim card...

not only that, i had to copy out on a singtel pamplet, all the dates i've input in the calender.. and all other information i had in the mobile... and in the end, when i went to queue again, the person told me, out of stock le!! cos ytd it was selling at $268!!! super faint lor... if it wasn't available, why did the person who served me previously still tell me that it was selling at $338?

i am super pek chek... and i am very sick and tired... i have never found so much difficulty buying a mobile phone b4... grrr... seems like m1's putting up a curse.. so that i won't switch to singtel? keke.. :P

Photoless X'mas Eve

had a blast @ daw's sis' place on x'mas eve partying... lotsa food, lotsa games, and not to mention, lotsa drinking... keke.. :P

we ordered the x'mas package from carrefour that included the turkey, honey baked ham and log cake... being very kiasu that food weren't enough for the 10 of us, we also ordered 2 large pizzas that came with drumlets and some other stuff... and (yes, there were more.. keke..) my HUGE bowl of potato salad (kw turtle, i know you must be whining and pouting your lips now.. lol..). so as you can see, there were so much food... we weren't able to finish all of them even thou we stuffed ourselves to the max (ghee, like the turkey that was stuffed before it went into the oven wor.. keke.. :P)

after food came the games and the non-stop drinking... from heart attack to 0-0-7 to 7-up (then changed to 3-up cos everyone getting very 厉害 already) and lastly after the countdown, the "ntu drinking game". we didn't really managed to countdown to x'mas thou.. tv show no counting down leh.. class 95 also don't have wor... so our countdown to x'mas was kinda, anti-climax thou... oh well, that's not really important la... the most important is the company ma.. :)

partied till 3+am... stomach filled with the food from the non-stop eating (dinner, log cake and punishment to eat leftover food during the drinking game) and of course that non-stop drinking since dinner... 真的是又饱又累 wor...

but... i really had fun... :)

My First 10km

hmm... what can i say? well, let's just say i survived it and, even thou it almost killed my very useless weakie right knee, i loved it...

[loving every moment of my marathon]

[and of course, adoring my first 10km medal]

and oh, forgot one more thing, am proud of myself... cos i didn't except myself to complete it with (to my surprise) not much difficulty...

am definately gonna take part again next year!!! it's so much fun... am very tempted to try on the 21km thou.. but something's telling me to train for a few more years, try out a few more 10km's before i embark on the suicidal journey of the 21km... haha... :P

that is my tag no. for tmr's 10km marathon... ghee, time really flies... i still remebered the time when i put the count down thingy for this marathon, it was more than 100 days away... and now? it's just 10 hours away...

my first marathon... will i survive? keke... i think i shldn't have a prob running 10km ba... oh well, you'll all know tmr! keke.. :P

somehow feeling kinda excited.. hee... my very first standard chartered marathon.. and i wonder, if there's many more to come? i guess so ba... :P

Just The Forth

it's just the forth... the forth day of december...

it's just the forth... the forth day i've shifted back to concourse...

and yet just the forth... i've worked my arse off in the office, coincidentally on the forth floor, till 10pm... not because i've completed my work but cos the mind and the body just cldn't take it anymore. it was also my first time, turning off the lights over at our cs corner.. yes, i was the last one in my department (on the 4th flr) to leave the office... 悲哀... ...

on this forth day, i've got my earphones plugged in, tuned to class 95, and listened through four shifts. from the morning express, to lunch break, to music marathon, and to cartunes.. almost went on the fifth shift of love songs, but didn't. cos i'm so tired, even thou it's also one of my fav shift, having that earphone plugged in just made me feel sooooo irritated... yes, i was that irritable... ghee... so unfriendly... :S

on this forth day, i didn't take a cabbie home despite leaving office so late... cos there were so many pple waiting for cabbie, and so many cabbies refusing to pick customers cos of the changing shift... and that resulted in me dragging my feet to bugis mrt station, the forth stop away from home.

on this forth day, the four-mrt-stops ride home was antagonising... it seemed forever... thank god there were seats...

on this forth day, i wonder, in four weeks time, whether i can finish the 2 amendment submissions that i'm supposed to. i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

on this forth day, four more words before i end my post...

Purely Lazy

feeling very lethargic at the current moment... came back from hot yoga class by yogi... i kinda like attending his classes... be it hot yoga, or gentle, or therapy or the never-fail-to-kill-me-yogalates etc...

today's lesson was good... thank god i dragged my feet for yoga lessons.. :P it rained cats and dogs at ard 5 plus and i was like "shit, raining so heavily!!! how to go for yoga??!!" and when it kinda subsided i was like "aww, what a nice weather to sleep in... so lazy to go for yoga..." hehe... :P

after lesson, went home.. had this craving for maggi again... and so, maggi for dinner it is!!! haha... yum yum... *contented*

and till now, since dinner, butt's been super-glued to the chair, not wanting to leave nor move (expect to go soak the dirty clothes)... feeling ultimately superbly lazy and little bits of jelly...

*yawn + cool breeze blowing thru my window* it's a calling... for me to go or-or liao... keke... :P
