May Cause Drowsiness

and it did... and i ended up with non-stop yawns while chatting with the group @ sizzler's just now... seemed so rude... keke..

went to see doc in the morning after puking my bfast out again... the doc initially wanted to give me a jab... but i rejected it after know that the jab would cause drowsiness... so changed to pills instead... he said i had stomach flu wor... which i doubt lor... i've gotten stomach flu so many times b4 already... not lydat one lor... i could like still hop, jump and run around wor... keke... oh well, he's the doc, he say i believe lor... keke...

at least i ate well for dinner... and now never vomit le...

2 x Waterfall

i know that waterfall's an alcoholic drink/shot/watever... but nope, i haven been clubbing... just been puking... keke...

maybe today's breakfast 不合 my stomach's 胃口... got the "food stuck in the middle" feeling... and ended up puking the bread and the coffee... not so bad... cos felt better after getting it out wor... keke...

knowing that i have a weak stomach... had 鱼片米粉 @ golden mile for lunchie... nice wor.. but still din manage to finish it thou... don't want to force myself and end up in the toilet throwing everything up again...

received an early xmas combo package from the ac... so many the comments wor... so the bz... worked till 7 plus and decided to meet jw for dinner... went to ajisen and saw andy, wl and ah dim there eating also... i only managed to eat about 1/3 of my noodles together with some other food... and had bubble tea after bumping into my never-see-since-graduation-primary-school-friend...

thot i was eating pretty well even thou i din eat much... but 哪里知道，when i was walking up the "slope" from the station, feels not rite le... and puked all my noodles out the moment i stepped home... (oh, for those of you who are wondering, yes, i did make it to the toilet in time... keke...)

oops... poor food... din get to be digested and stay in the stomach wor... oh well... keke..

The Choice Between The Bucket And The (Shower) Head

the bucket or the shower head?? the bucket or the shower head?? i keep asking myself... the head definately supports the (shower) head... but deep down in the heart, it tells me that the bucket is of a better choice... argh, 长痛不如短痛... the bucket la....

splash~~~ argh... very cold ah... *jumps around in the bathroom* why, of all times must the heater spoil??? of all days have to be the today whose afternoon rained so heavily somemore... very cold... very cold... very cold lor...

and now i grumble about having long hair... to have to splash myself with more buckets of cold water to make sure it's clean from the shampoo-ing and the conditioning... i thot i wld have froze to death.. and surprisingly, i made it alive wor.. keke..

tmr morning is another ordeal... bathe cold water so early in the morning... woah... i am so gonna die from that one... haiz... i feel like being a dirty piggie and not brave that ordeal already... hmm... or maybe shld wakie early to boil water?? hmm.. sounds very 古代 wor... keke.. too lazy la... :P

oh well... 忍一忍吧... hope mummy comes back with the new heater up soon... and pls let it be real soon...

Sleeping Wkend No More

... this wkend at least... not sure about the rest that's yet to come thou.. keke..

"broom broom" soft roars of thunder sounded... followed by the strong winds... and you know that hmm... it's gonna rain oh so heavily.. oh, what a nice weather to sleep...

and that is what i will do, or had done over the past few weekends with or without the rain... and by saying that, it obviously meant that i didn't nap la.. keke...

instead, i was reading.. on the bed... this book that i've just borrowed from the library after lunch ytd... titled "tuesdays with morrie" by mitch albom... and in just that short brief 2 hours, i've already completed more than half the book... and am loving every page of it... as much as i did with his previous book "the five people you meet in heaven"...

decided to take a break from the reading and went outside to the living room to check on how dearie's doing with his revision for the last lap, 2 last papers for his exams... and also "dropped by" the little extention room back at the kitchen, looked out the window, enjoyed the breeze (oh, too strong a wind to call it a breeze... keke..), took a deep breath, smelling the "scent" of the rain.... and smiled...

call me weird or what.. but i particular like the scent of the rain... or rather, the scent telling you that it's gonna rain... the same as i kinda like the smell when you open the freezer... hee... i know, i'm weird.. keke...

The Jackfruit Tree

lunched at market ytd... or what is known as the famous "army market"... while waiting for my food, i turned and saw this jackfruit tree, which brought back old school memories... ...

joined gardening as my eca when i was in primary school... while i got to know from most of my friends that gardening in their schools are the most inpopular eca, my school, surprisingly, was otherwise... it was one of the popular ones...

gardening was always fun.. from the watering of the plants to the planting of the seedlings and ultimately playing with the earthworms...

there was once the jackfruits growing on the jackfuit tree in school was ready to be plucked... and our teacher went up the tree to pluck it while all of us waited patiently for him to come down... everyone was given a small bag of the fruit home and i got scolded like hell the moment i went home... cos eca was supposed to end at ard 3pm, which meant i shld be home latest 3.30pm, cos all of us were 贪心, want the jackfruit, and ended up leaving school at 5-ish...

thinking back of all these unforgettable memories in my life... feeling so sweet... and somehow just wish that those times can just freeze there and enjoy that moment forever... :P

稀客 from the 西

dawson sent a pretty demanding sms to me this afternoon.. "ask your mum don cook. dinner outing tonight 7pm at city hall. reply pls." first reaction was "dinner outing again? just met up last nite wor..." b4 realising... "woah, demanding wor..." keke...

i really had no intention of gg lor... cos i'm really drained out from all the OT-ing i did over the past few nites... but because of this 稀客 from the 西 (uncle peh who came from work from the west side) whom i long time never see liao, ok la... go for tonite's gathering...

dinner was @ swensen's... initially still said wana go secret recipe for cheese cake one... but talk talk talk @ swensen's until forgot the time... and shoo shoo off they chased us out of the restaurant cos closing liao... keke...

had tons of laughter... although tired.. but enjoyed myself neverthelessly...

and so i decided to call him 食神...

then i realised... got 2 神 wor... 食神 (jw) and door 神 (dawson)... so to be part of the family i also demanded a "神".... keke...

and jw decided that i'm the 爱神... cos i very the caring wor... hee...

Crappie Crabbie Crap

jw sent me an sms this afternoon saying dawson's jioing for crabbie dinner... sounds yummylicious... but i turned it down cos i had to OT again...

worked till around 8.30pm... gave dawson a ring to check where they were... and turns out to be they were at suntec, together with derrick... and so dawson managed to persuade me to be their light bulb for the night... keke..

while on the bus down to suntec, i smsed dawson asking where to eat... and this is what he replied, "derrick got 3 choices for u. pizza hut, pizza hut and pizza hut." i was like... (-_-)'" lor... that's not 3 choices lor... that's practically telling me where to eat lor... keke.. and off to pizza hut we went... ...

dunno what was that they ordered.. one of them was hawaiian pizza.. the other is some pizza with prawn, squid, chicken?? and crab stick... oh, the soup was horrible lor... soup of the day was cream of mushroom.. when the soup came, we were stirring and saw lumps of what seemed to be mushrooms... and we all thought to ourselves, pizza hut not bad wor... turned out to be it's their "powder" never dissolve properly lor... none of us finished the soup...

although tonite alaskan crabbie dinner was not sucessful... but still got crabbie wor... the crappy crabbie stick in the pizza lor... keke... and sad to say... i don't quite like that pizza... keke... still prefer traditional ones, like hawaiian... but still had fun.. with all that crap talking till the waiter "chases" us out of the restaurant...

OT OT OT again... left office at 8 plus... nope, not because i finished my work... but cos my tummy surrendered b4 my brain did... hungry wor... and they always say hungry man is angry man.. angry man cannot think properly, so cannot work properly wor... keke... and off i went to meet jw for dinner...

went to bugis and settled dinner at macdonald's... had my all time fav double cheese meal... yum yum... oh, fillet's also my fav wor... hmm... to be thinking back... i practically grew up with cheese burger and fillet-o-fish wor... when i was young, sis always bought either these two burgers with that happy meal for me whenever we went macdonald's... so many years le... taste buds never changed... the same as for my mum's beef with kailan...

the same as the macdonald's advertisement that ends with "oh my macdonald's..."

好久好久

没有煮饭了... and just so happen today i woke up early, 心血来潮, have the "feel"... and decided to prepare lunchie for dearie...

and due to the limited ingredients available at the super mart downstairs.. this is what i pulled off.. keke..

Today's The First Time

... i actually thanked the analysis of a beam for continuously failing to pass... and b4 i continue with the rest of the post, just a note that today's post almost became "today's the first time i did OT on a fri..." keke...

loads of work are piling... and they are more than i can handle.. so bo bian, must OT.. and i was supposedly to work late today cos i had to finish this thing on hand... was using fastrak (one prog i don't really like) to analyse the beam.. and dunno why it just refused to pass la.. was stuck at this beam for more than an hour.. trying to increase the size, increase the shear studs blah blah but still cannot la.. do until very the pek chek.. and at that point when the clock ticked towards 5.30 at 5 plus.. i was getting more depressed... i was like, "die la, tonite dunno must do until what time... and i really have no more energy left le..."

bumped into derrick at the pantry and he asked, "hey, you ok ma? you look like you're dying.." and i said, "nowadays, work from 8.30am to 5.30pm is like working from 8.30am to 10.30pm last time... so mentally straining and tiring..."

ys stepped in to that prob but we still cldn't solve the prob after all that was sort of within our means. and that was when he told me to continue the work next week and ask me to go back to read up and try to solve the prob...

phew, don't have to OT le... and yeap, this is actually the first time i actually thank a beam for failing.. haha...

a perfect round... 8.30am ~ 8.30pm... that's the time i spent in office today... 好累哦... don't even know last time how i managed to work till 10+pm consectively for 3 days somemore... haa...

met dearie for super duper late dinner @ city hall after his struc paper.. he seems quite confident.. except for a mistake which i pointed out to him just now over dinner when i was browsing thru the exam paper.. but don't worry dear k? small mistake only =) am sure the A+ will still be sitting firmly in your pocket...

oh ya, apologies to mingwei for flying him aeroplane.. was supposed to have dinner with him @ chinatown today one.. paiseh and sorry leh...

好了，不写了... got a whole lot of letters to clear... argh.. the bombardment of the bills... hp, internet and credit card... all come together one... and dunno why the internet bills like overcharge me again lor...

Looking Inside To Find The Little One

the rainy season is here... it's either raining in the morning, which i bloody hate, cos it's just so grrr to have to wake up from the oh-so-nice-bed.. or raining at nite, which i pretty much like.. cos can have the oh-so-cool weather and just snuggle under the blankets and sleep oh-so-soundly...

ok, back to the topic... was raining pretty bloody heavy this morning... argh.. flooding everywhere... heels wet liao...

but as i walk that stretch just after parkview square, where i always take the photograph of the dhl balloon scenery, i looked at that land of grass... some parts of it were pretty flooded... and i find it a pretty sight.. like some padi fields... keke..

looking at the puddles of water brought me back to the childhood days... how fun it was to play in the rain... to get wet... to jump at puddles of water by the road... and you realise that you won't be crazy enuf to do that anymore. cos you'll have some impt work not done and cannot afford to fall sick.. cos of this, cos of that... those were the oh-so-fun-so-carefree-days...

and somehow, i have this urge to re-live those days... to put on a coat, with the rain bootie like the picture above... to jump and have fun, to bring out the little one inside me, whom in years i've never seen...

All The Same - No Difference

it's not that i want to paint an ugly picture.. but i'm REALLY disgusted by how some of the ladies in my office use the toilet... or how some other ladies (or rather, these ladies) can be that disgusting when using the toilet cos by the end of this post, you'll understand why ladies of these 2 categories do not differ.

it's either toilet not flushed, or the floor totally wet with the pee smell... and you think this is bad enuf.. no no.. sometimes when you're that "lucky", you'll see something pretty red or sometimes browny in the toilet bowl... and pls pls pls don't tell me is that the flushing power of the toilet bowl is not powerful enuf.. even if it was, it doesn't hurt you to just turn, look and make sure everything gets flushed down like the previous user did. *rolls eyes*

ok, this is a kind of scenario that is pretty common in public toilets.. esp the non-flushed ones.. and i used to think that the toilet's choked.. but hey, viola, it never seem to choke when i'm the one flushing it!!! presto presto magic!!!

initially, i was like, why would pple in the office wana do tat?? why would they want to dirty a toilet where everyone in the company shares? but it dawned upon me this afternoon, after another "toilet choked" encounter to realise that pple in the office are no different than those of outside. it's a matter of fact, just another mindset thingy.

how confidently can i say that the ladies doing this in the office are not those doing it at the public toilets? they are, as a matter of fact, all the same... yucky yucky disgusting pple.. *yucks*

i always have this habit of sitting near the window facing the on-going-construction of orchard turn... perhaps because of my involvement in the design, being so near everytime somehow gives me some excitement.. (come to think of it, whenever i have dinner @ wisma fc, i would tell ys that i went for site visit the previous nite... keke..)

so, while dearie was buying the food, it dawned upon me that of the many times i'm there, i haven taken any photographs of it.. and so, out came the hp from my bag and snap snap snap (yes, 3 photographs, literally.. keke)

Light @ The End Of The Tunnel

today was a day filled with lotsa ups and downs...

am very tired... tired that this morning when i woke up, i actually had the "i don't want to go to work" in my mind... tired that a "non-coffee drinker" have been buying coffee for 2 consecutive days... (but i do have to admit i lurve the aroma of the freshly brewed coffee from the foodcourt downstairs.. hee)

i'm sick and tired.. of going round and round that bloody ramp... and finally i get to finish it today... but my world came crashing down when "something cropped up" and i have to redo it again... well done well done... not only that, more prob evolved!!! at that point of time, i was like this close (fingers joined) to killing myself or knocking myself on the wall or do whatever it cld take me to get out of that misery.. it was like super pms @ that moment lor...

then thot, hey, cld get off on time to go for a run.. let everything out... 哪里知道, worked till 7pm lor.. don't need to run liao. by the time i get back, 天黑黑 liao.. the route not safe to run liao... which in a way, yah, made matters worse.. made me feel even lousier... like feeling so tired is not enuf. still must add on.. oh well..

but while on the way back... something i saw lifted my spirits... my all time fav orangy/pinkish skies of the sunset...

Two Sides

it's amazing how different i eat and sleep during wkdays and wkends...

during wkdays, i'm usually the no-appetite-to-eat... i wake up on time for work.. and can actually appear fresh and pull it off till off work time.. oh well, sometimes i don't la.. more on the scrape off the ends kinda pull it off.. keke..

but during wkends, i'm like soooo completely different.. i get hungry easily. in fact i just keep wanting to munch non-stop.. i eat alot... my eyes brights up at all the junkie food available in the supermarket.. or cakes selling from confectionary stalls... oh well, just non-stop eating la... as for sleeping? i don't think i need to say anymore eh? it's pretty clear from the posts i've posted over the past few wkends... sleep, is definately something not enuf, cos no matter how much i've slept, i can still sleep somemore...

woke up at 11am..

sleep (again) till 5pm

hmm... next will be dinner time!!! which will be soon... and tv-junkie-foodie (bought last nite) time... and finally zzz...
