Dearie's B'day Celebration

there are 2 celebrations this year! one with me and me alone, the other with dearie's mummy and uncle.

dearie and i had trouble deciding between equinox or the line. but in the end, we decided on celebrating it in....

Curls Curls Curls

this is one of the unforgettable experience that i ever had. an unforgettable 4 hours in the salon. after must thinking and thinking and bothering pple by asking whether i should perm my hair a million times, i finally did it.

i went to the salon (called needs salon) @ international plaza to do it. it was initially $118 but my bill totalled up to $185 (and pls don't ask me why). *heart bleeeds*

ok lah. since i've already started blogging, might as well tell you why. this lady hair stylist said that my hair is very dry. so i must do pre-treatment ($59) so as to reduce the damage the perm does to my hair. and cos dearie said that it'll look nicer with a fringe, so she suggested this dunno what thing that closes the gap that's caused by my parting (and that was another $35). but we managed to bargain our way to the final bill of $185. *haiz*

throughout the process, they have washed my hair dunno how many times. and because of so many washes, i felt like some noodles. noodles? yeap. cos first they rinse your hair with water too warm, then followed by water too cold. don't you think it's like some food store cooking noodles? they always cook the noodles in hot water and then transfer to cold water one. *hehe*

and so, after ard 1.5 hrs of washing and pre-treatmenting (with funny dunno wat oxygen 3 coming out from my head with that stupid machine), i was finally on my way to curling the hair! and i tell you, the thing they use to curl your hair is bloody heavy lor!!! and the heating of the thing was also very hot lor!!! and that's the reason why they put the white "insulator" cloth behind every curl and around my head as shown below.

Sotong me

left dearie's place yesterday morning to meet up with faizal to study @ orchard library. sianz. dearie and faizal has quiz on mon. and me? i have 2 quizzes!!! *sigh*

but lucky for me, one on mon, the other, friday. *phew* if not i'm gonna die oh so terribily.. haha

we studied till ard 7pm and we parted. faizal was going to meet his parents for dinner and us, we just settled our dinner @ the taka foodcourt.

so we walk walk here and then we decided to go home. it was until when i reached the carpark @ my place that i realised that i forgot to put my keys in my bag when i left dearie's place. since mum wasn't at home, bo bian lor, had to take train all the way back to toa payoh again. haha...

Don't understand

why there are so many pple who like to send chain mails? wat's the rational behind it? esp those like, "if you do not send by when and when, your family will die lah, you'll have bad luck lah, you'll not find the love of your life lah. etc etc."

or those that goes, "friendster will cancel your account lah, hotmail will cancel your account lah"

why har? why har? it's bo liao lor. they make you send bloody chain mails, and curse you when you don't.

Dearie's b'day present

it's abit too early cos his b'day falls on the 28th. but i bought this cos it was really worth it and dearie liked it alot too! *beams*

you see, there was this watch booth set up @ ntu so after lunch just now i told dearie to go take a look with me.

and i sorta fell in love with two of the marc ecko watches. and for those of you who knows about watches, that brand is f**king expensive one lor. BUT, (no matter how many times i curse on the word but, i love it sometimes too! i really do!) it's selling with a 50%-75% discount! and that means... SALE! my fav 4 letter word. hee...

after see see look look here, test test wear wear there, i decided to get this for him. dearie wanted to pay for the watch but i won instead, for one simple reason. cos i told him last week when i bought him a watch from bugis street that since i was the 1st person to give him a watch, and it always have been me who bought him the watch, i shall remain the one and only one to buy him watches. (wahahaha. wat a valid reason yea?) and for another valid reason, all these years, his b'day gifts from me were watches. (except for last year where he told me he needed a bag more than a watch) it's really worth it cos it cost me $89 instead of the usual $295!

Appendicitis? Or Not?

my poor dearie had a tummy ache on sat since 10pm. it was till 2am in the morning that he told me that the pain was unbearable... *so poor thing*

so i woke up and insisted on bringing him to sgh to see the doctor. the doc did a blood test and a x-ray to see what was the problem but results would only be out at 7am. so dearie suggested that i went home to catch some rest first.

and so the results showed that he had a serious virus infection in the blood that may cause appendicitis cos his lower right adominal hurts when the doc pressed on it. and so the doc suggested that it was the not-so-usual-and-slow-process appendicitis.

did his blood test again ytd and the doc said that the blood count's back to normal.

so appendicitis or not? who knows? even the doc doesn't.

so sad to hear the news of the death of steve irwin... i really liked him alot. dearie always had to try to get me to go downstairs to eat bah chor mee if i'm watching croc diaries at that time.

it's really a pity lor. poor bindi and the 2 year old son. i believe everyone in australia zoo is gonna be so upset. even i'm upset about it... the news is just too shocking already. the other time dearie and i went to the zoo, we came to know that steve irwin came to singapore some time ago. that was when dearie and i decided to go to the zoo again when he visits singapore again. but now... no more. so sad...
