Surprise surprise

was on the way back from lunch. was standing @ the road junction and found someone pretty familiar... and that person was baby ma and his mum...

he did not seem to recognise me initially. but after teasing him for a while, he seemed to as he broke into a smile... *how sweet*

however, he did not seemed really enthusiatic in waving gd bye to me. but as they walked into sultan plaza he suddenly turned back, smiled and waved gd bye to me!!! so cute so cute, oh so cute...

just bumping into him with that smile just brighten up my day aredi...

Paperthrift

i derive this from the word "spendthrift". hehe..

since "spendthrift" means "one who spends money recklessly or wastefully" (thanks to http://www.dictionary.com), so paperthrift wld mean one who wastes lotsa paper.

and that person is..... ME

attachment for only 6 weeks, i already have quite a huge stack of paper (waste paper) cos i kept designing my stuff wrongly.

redesigning after redesigning wld lead to... lots and lotsa paper stacked at a corner of the table waiting to be used for drafts... don't get the wrong idea yeah, i hate redesigning. cos redesigning of one beam wld lead to redesigning for 3-4 beams.. eww...

It's not me

i actually resisted on-ing my laptop the moment i stepped home. not only that, i didn't on it after my bath as well... *unusual me*

instead, i started filing my nails and giving them a nice (erm... ok lah, i'm not really a pro at this) coat of "transparent" nail polish.

told dearie about it and he too said it was unusual of me to choose my nails rather the computer. he also said that the next moment i wld on the comp to blog about it and presto! he's rite!!! he just knows me too well... *heez*

Mahjong

was surprised to receive a call from kaiyu ytd. thot he wanted to ask me out to dinner but it turned out not to be. he called to ask whether i wanted to play mahjong with him, kok kiong and janice (kk's gf).

since i had nothing to do after work, i agreed to it despite the killing headache.

thot we cld play 2 rounds but turned out that we only played 1. i was known as the "cai hua zei" (flower thief) as i kept getting flowers...

not bad, not bad that i managed to win $30 over... *beams*

dunno why, i have been getting migrains lately which made me wonder whether stress was building up again. i used to have really bad migrain attacks to the point i had to take really strong medication.

but today, i think the cause of my migrain/headache is caused by something else... and i can't help but to suspect that it's my growing of another wisdom tooth.

my gums are aching, the same painful feeling that i had when the 1st wisdom tooth grew out.

i'm not a very coffee person. esp when i started IA, i've become a very chinese tea person. but dunno why today too sleepy liao. walked past 7-11 and decided to get myself a nice, cold can of coffee.

the starbucks double shot coffee was really tempting. but very ex lehz.. it was like $4.50 lor! so i've decided to stick to the one that i usually buy (when i actually do buy one) and that's the nescafe iced latte.

sure enuf, it brightens my day already... and anything that brightens my day, is just my love...
so there it is... my new love... (no jealousy, my dear old chinese tea... i still love you as much)

now i'm abit crazy after the drink. fancy me posting an entry for the tea.. hahaha...

different pple have different views about stuff and that include opinions to others.

some people take opinions seriously, some don't and there are some who'll react to whateva the situation is.

vincent is a real sweetie. (no worries vincent, i'm not angry. neither am i upset. in fact, i'm glad you told me all these just now.) he told me over msn some pple (whom till now i dunno who) commented about the way i dress to work. well, what to do? my whole waredrobe is full of spaghettis, halters, short skirts and jeans. and i can only wear jeans on fri. so... ermz... it's difficult lah... (haiz.. but no worries vincent, i promised i'll try. so i'll try.) come to think of it, it's not the first time that pple have commented about the way i dress.

but who cares? others do, but i don't. hee... erm, do i sound a bit rebelious here... *oops* it's like life is so damn bloody tired already. in sch, you have to 看别人的脸色. in work, you have to do the same as well. it's like 90% of the time we have to 看别人的脸色. tiring leh... so, other than work and sch, i just do the things i like: behave the way i like, walk the way i like, dress the way i like, talk the way i like....

i'm me. just me. a very special me. =)

Food does make wonders

yeap, that's what i found out (since dunno when but intend to share this wif you guys)...

had a really bad morning with mummy screaming @ me and accussing me of stuff that i didn't do. i was fuming mad... cos it's really unfair.

in turn, i ended up taking it up on dearie... (dearie, i'm so sorry to do that) however, dearie, being a sweetie (as usual) cheered me up by buying me a really sinful BK breakfast. it's a enormous portion, but being the usual glutton that i am, i managed to finish it. hee...

so my conclusion?
food does make wonders. food comforts. but the most important thing is: there's a sweetie who's always there to create the wonders...

finally got to get into balaclava with dearie last nite cos it was freaking crowded!! last sat i got into there and realised that i wasn't of the "qualified" age. but it's different on fridays; it's too freaking crowded, so the pple there don't check!!! *beams*

the live band is fantastic!!! i love it i love it i love it!!! Ooo.... ahh..... hahahahaha... now i'm going crazy...

Oo.. i'm gonna go there more often... it's so nice! place is cool, music's good, and best of all, for this month, it's a one-for-one heineken for $12!!!

Having dinner at HUB

Well, not very fun unless you are having it with our dear EVE......

Thats rite, my dearie is spending money again.... (for those who know her...wats new rite!)

haha... ok, i shall continue from here...

dropped by GNC cos i saw some supplements that i might wana get last nite when i was in the outlet @ bugis with peini. decided to ask the pple there about the supplement (papaya enzyme). this papaya enzyme is supposed to aid me in my digestion and helps to remove my bloatedness. sounds good.. not really expensive $19.99... so i intended to buy it.

when i was at the counter, preparing to pay, the sales person asked whether i wanted to apply for the membership card. this card allows me a 2-year membership as well as a 20% discount. this membership cost $10.

well, it's worth it isn't it?? so i applied for the membership lor... then again, the sales person asked whether i wanted to buy a thermal cup for $3.80. a thermal cup for $3.80!!?? wow... it really is a bargain! furthermore, i've been intending to get one for office use cos my tea cools down easily. so leh... yup you're rite... i bought the cup as well... hee...

was supposed to be on our way home already... then we walked passed this stall that sells umbrella. erm... so i stopped by to take a look at the umbrellas and got myself one that's small and compact...

saying of umbrellas, of all times, my umbrella had to die on me today. when i got out of the office, it was drizzling quite heavily and i was meeting dearie @ bugis mrt. feeling smug that i brought an umbrella, i took it out and opened it, then realising that 2 "legs" of the umbrella were broken. so lor, poor me had to walk in the rain.. haiz... (and if you do realise, that's why i had to buy an umbrella...)

dearie's saying i'm a spendthrift... well... am i really one? hmm...

i guess that's for me to know, for you guys to find out then!!!

Home Club @ Riverwalk

there's where dearie and i were last night.

this place was recommended by anand. yes, we met up with him there. noraini and anand's friend, john was there too. the club was playing drum and bass and there was this international DJ from brazil. this DJ is goood! (even thou i not a drum a bass kind)

before that, dearie wanted to bring me to balaclava for a drink as he went there the nite before. he said that the live band was good. but there was this sad thing... and that was my age... cos their age limit was 25. and being on a not crowded sat nite, i wasn't able to get in to have a drink.

so we took a walk down to river hongbao. Oo!!! i touched a snake!!! i touched a snake!!! okay, enuf of that, we carried on walking b4 walking down to riverwalk to join anand...

Jingyi's farewell "party"

"king" jingyi flying off to taiwan for attachment. so we decided to meet up with him b4 he flies on the 8th. ok, so now i presume that you know who the "we" are. and that's pretty stupid to do that.

the nite started off with aaron, brina, uncle ma, jingyi, jingyi's gf, irvin, leong soon, feng wei and me meeting up @ NTU for dinner. they had this alumni dinner and jingyi booked a table for us... dinner was ok, with lou hei to start with.

after dinner, our group of pple changed... there were jingyi, aaron, noraini, anand, joshua, leong soon and me... jingyi initially suggested dbl O, however anand suggested liquid room instead. so what happened was that aaron, joshua and i were waited for the rest of them till 1 plus in the morning... (nope, i'm not gonna write the whole thing down cos it's too long)

so as i was saying, we met up, drank, danced and had a hell of a nite!

p.s hey, i love hanging out with you guys... gonna miss my "king" so much...
